"Here we come, three degenerate hippie freaks in a psychedelically painted microbus. If I were a border guard, I wouldn't be wondering if we were carrying drugs. I'd be wondering what kind of drugs and how much."

"You know, Frank, I think the Kid does that so well because all gay people learn to be actors almost from birth. Because we have to pretend to be like everyone else even while we know that we’re different. We ape them, you know? Perform a version of them and everything.”

To be read in March!

Hi, here's a very ambicious TBR from me! This one IS probably too much for me, but right now I'm not even going to care.

- Vi mot er (which I believe is called Us Against You) is the second installment of the Beartown series. I liked the first part so much, I had to continue it immediatelly. I'm halfway through this book already so I should be done with it soon.
- Everything I Never Told You - I've seen this book being raved about everywhere and also, I have never read anything by Celeste Ng so I felt it's time I change that.
- The Rules of Attraction is a book I've had on my shelf for a year; I felt like I needed to read a historical adult fiction novel this month, and this one filled that slot quite nicely.
- I'm on the waiting list for King of Scars at my local library so who knows when I'll get it; hopefully I'll get it soon because this is the first novel in the new "section" of the Grisha verse and since I've liked the other books so much, I decided I wanted to check this one out, too.
- We Now Return To Regular Life is a contemporary YA novel that I had on my TBR last year but ever got around to it; hopefully I will this month.
- How Long Has This Been Going On? is an absolute monster of a novel which chronicles gay life in America and I've been looking forward to reading it for so long.

Here's to a good reading month!

Read in February

Hi guys,

finally I'm back after a hectic month! I sadly haven't blogged as much as I've hoped to; first I was sick, twice, and then I spent the rest of the month trying to catch up on work I fell behind on while I was sick......

Anyway, here we go!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

# of books read: 5

- Whipsers Under Ground (Peter Grant #3) by Ben Aaronovitch
- Dry by Neal Shusterman
- Summer of Salt by Katarina Leno

- The Moonlight Dreamers by Siobhan Curham
- Beartown by Fredrik Backman
I actually managed to read five books this month, which to me is a feat especially considering how busy the latter part of this month was. All in all, I've had a good reading month! I read nothing that was horrible and I did read a lot of good books.
Best book of the month: Hands down, Beartown. I don't know the first things about hockey but this book made me fall in love with a town, a team and a bunch of characters. A more thorough review of this book will happen as soon as possible!
Worst book of the month: Whispers Under Ground. It made me more disappointed than anything to be honest. The premise - ghosts!! in the London Underground!! - but sadly it let me down. Which really isn't the fault of this obok, but still.
